Features of v.1.1:
The schematics are modified from those in the original hardware manual. A unique READY signal is used on every data cable. Therefore multiplexer U04 is eliminated (also eliminating the possibility of using 8" drives, the 16 MHz clock not being used anymore), also U11 is eliminated (manual switch to select the type of each drive - 8" (16MHz) or 5 1/4" (8 MHz)).
The 4-connector configuration of v.1.0 is maintained (floppy data connectors), 2 internal and 2 external. The difference is that now these connectors can take data cables using a single READY signal. Therefore JFDI2 and JFDE2 can now use standard twisted data cables, completely unmodified, with 2 drives on a cable at the same time.
